First impressions are everything for most individuals. The Greeters at the River Northwest are definitely the BEST! Wither welcoming newcomers as they step into God's glory inside the River sanctuary; or taking a moment to speak with the quiet and shy folk seated near the back--each love Jesus and leave a lasting impression on everyone they come in contact with. Sometimes, just a smile will do--after all, Jesus is what they share with others and He knows just what they need. Greeters are the first thing someone sees after hearing a joyful noise that pours out of the sanctuary structure. If your the one that goes out of your way to shine God's glory wherever you go--you might be a River Northwest Greeter!

Ushers at the River Northwest carry several skillets. Typically, Ushers first begin as greeters before they take on increased levels of responsibility as Hospitality Team members. As an Usher, you are spiritually mature, exercise an exceptional degree of discernment, & are experienced in flowing with the Holy Spirit. Additionally, you are capable of catching/aiding others who are catching members of the congregation when they are receiving from the Holy Spirit. Ushers should have a good understanding of how the service flows & have the ability to carry out any changes or instructions from the Pastors to uphold the order/sanctity of services. If you know how to make it happen with little or no supervision--you might be an Usher!

Our Nursing Home Team at the River is comprised of individuals who are excited about sharing the love of Christ with others. In particular, they are self motivated, driven, & dedicated to share the Good News with as many people as possible. They focus on reaching out to members in nursing homes here in the community & all throughout the Peninsula. Spending time with the elderly who are at the final stages of there earthly life--ensuring that they hear how Jesus loves them, & winning souls over for the kingdom of heaven. Its never too late! The Nursing Home Team takes time to make time for those who may not have anyone to talk to, ensuring they feel the love of Christ, & instill hope/joy to each one. If you are passionate about sharing the love of Jesus to anyone & everyone--have a kindness about you that's contagious--Don't let this opportunity to serve pass you by! You just might be called to become a member of the Nursing Home Team--it's never too late!

Here at the River we are always hosting events, and services are taking place daily. That said, it is important that we take care of the Lord's sanctuary and ensure we are good stewards of our structure where the Holy Spirit resides. Every member of the church body has an important role to fill. If you like to tidy up, organize, put a meticulous attention to detail in your work--you may be just the right one for the Sanctuary Cleaning Team! Our Cleaning Team has done an amazing job ensuring that the building is always ready for visitors--you never see them, but they are doing the jobs that most avoid when everyone goes home. That's okay, Jesus sees them and if you like to be out of the spotlight and serve after hours--your probably the one perfect for the Team. If the church was dirty the last time it was seen and the next time your back its already clean--it was probably the Sanctuary Cleaning Team--not just a dream!
